Front desk staff stated a <br />pole-mounted transformer released approximately 80-gallons of mineral oil located <br />on Forest lake rd. Acampo, CA <br />Contacted Alex Steele, Environmental Field Scientist. Stated that he just put in a <br />CAL-OES Spill Report for the spill. Alex stated that the spill report would have the <br />coordinates of the impact area. Asked if any waterways were impacted. He stated <br />that no water ways were impacted, only soil. He stated that Dave Larsen, heavy <br />equipment mechanic for PGE, went out there and covered the spill with a plastic <br />covering. Alex stated that clean up could not occur, due to muddy conditions near <br />area of spill. I requested he contact me, once clean up resumes. <br />Contacted Elena Manzo 'Lead Senior RENSj discussed spill. Based on <br />discussion, I left to go inspect impact area. <br />Received CAL-OES spill report. Took Forest Lake Rd. down to private property. <br />Contacted Alex Steele, Environmental Field Scientist, asked if he had property <br />owner contact information. He stated that he did not. Could not observe impact <br />area at this time, left to EHD. <br />Sent an email to Joseph Geraldes, AG inspector, requested property owner's <br />contact information. <br />Left voicemail requested a call back. <br />Received call from Dave Larsen, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, PGE. Stated that <br />he has photos of the impact area.
