EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN <br /> This is French Camp Crain Elevators, LI.,(W Emergency .Faction Plan. It meas all OSHA <br /> requirements and applies to all our work operations. <br /> Introduction: <br /> Because of the seriousness of the safety and health hazards related to emergency response <br /> operations, we have adopted this Emergency Action flan in order to cover those emergency <br /> situations in which action.trust be taken to ensure safety from tare, explosion and any other <br /> emergencies. <br /> We have adapted this program in order to implement 29 G.F.R. 1910.38, the OSHA standard <br /> regulating Employee emergency plans. This Emergency Action Plan is designed to identify, <br /> evaluate, and control safety and health hazards, and provide emergency response procedures. <br /> Our plan will be periodically updated as needed. It will be made available to all affected <br /> employees, and to our contractors and subcontractors so that they will know what to do when <br /> their workers are on our premises. Our contractors and subcontractors will also be informed of <br /> potential fire or explosion hazards before they enter the worksite. In any emergency the <br /> evacuation meeting location will be the park bench located outside of the office. <br /> Scope and Application: <br /> Proper planning and response are important elements of our Emergency Action Plan. <br /> There are OSHA standards that require that we develop and implement a written Emergency <br /> Action Plan to handle possible emergencies before performing operations. We have done that. <br /> Our plan is explained below. <br /> Our Emergency Action Plan includes onsite and offsite personnel with specific emergency <br /> response roles, but will also cover others who may be on site, such as contractors and visitors. <br /> All personnel, whether directly involved in emergency response or not, should know their own <br /> responsibilities in an emergency. They must also know the names of those in authority, and the <br /> extent of that authority. Any person, who does not know, is obligated to request that information <br /> from their immediate supervisor at once. <br /> In any emergency situation, one person must be able to assume total control and decisionmaking <br /> on site.
