Josh Harrison—Has been designated as the company person responsible for this Emergency <br /> Action Plan. He will be our Emergency Response Coordinator, will identify all individuals and <br /> teams who will participate in emergency response and define their roles. <br /> Josh Harrison will also: <br /> • Be backed up by a specified alternate of his choice <br /> • Have the authority to resolve all disputes about health and safety requirements and <br /> precautions. <br /> • Be authorized to seek and purchase supplies as necessary. <br /> • Have control over activities of everyone entering the site, for example, <br /> contractors, fire departments, and police. o Have the clear support of management. <br /> Training and Instructions <br /> Training is important to assure that everyone clearly understands his or her role and can react <br /> properly without delay. <br /> Training will include the following: <br /> • Emergency escape procedures and emergency escape route assignments a <br /> Procedures to be followed by employees who remain to operate critical plant <br /> operations before they evacuate. <br /> • Procedures to account for all employees after emergency evacuation has been <br /> completed. <br /> • Rescue and medical duties for those employees who are to perform them. <br /> • The preferred means of reporting fires and other emergencies; and <br /> 0 <br /> • Names or regular job titles of person or departments who can be contacted for <br /> further information or explanation of duties under this Plan. <br /> Each supervisor is responsible for assuring that each employee under his direction and <br /> control is properly aware of and fully trained in each of those elements, is familiar with <br /> the alarm system, knows that he must evacuate the premises in the event of fire and other <br /> emergencies, and is familiar with the emergency escape routes. In addition, employee <br /> training in hazard prevention and control and all elements of this Program will be covered <br /> during periodic safety meetings and in the training that is provided under our Hazard <br /> Communication Program. <br /> Training will be provided as follows: <br /> • For all affected employees at the time of adoption of this Plan and for new <br /> employees during their probation period. <br />
