Josh Harrison—Has been designated as the company person responsible for this Emergency Action Plan. He will be our Emergency Response Coordinator, will identify all individuals and teams who will participate in emergency response and define their roles. Josh Harrison will also: • Be backed up by a specified alternate of his choice • Have the authority to resolve all disputes about health and safety requirements and precautions. • Be authorized to seek and purchase supplies as necessary. • Have control over activities of everyone entering the site, for example, contractors, fire departments, and police. o Have the clear support of management. Training and Instructions Training is important to assure that everyone clearly understands his or her role and can react properly without delay. Training will include the following: • Emergency escape procedures and emergency escape route assignments a Procedures to be followed by employees who remain to operate critical plant operations before they evacuate. • Procedures to account for all employees after emergency evacuation has been completed. • Rescue and medical duties for those employees who are to perform them. • The preferred means of reporting fires and other emergencies; and 0 • Names or regular job titles of person or departments who can be contacted for further information or explanation of duties under this Plan. Each supervisor is responsible for assuring that each employee under his direction and control is properly aware of and fully trained in each of those elements, is familiar with the alarm system, knows that he must evacuate the premises in the event of fire and other emergencies, and is familiar with the emergency escape routes. In addition, employee training in hazard prevention and control and all elements of this Program will be covered during periodic safety meetings and in the training that is provided under our Hazard Communication Program. Training will be provided as follows: • For all affected employees at the time of adoption of this Plan and for new employees during their probation period.
