Seresco Dehumidifier Submittal <br />2.6 CONDENSER (AIR REHEAT COIL) <br />A. Shall be sized for variable heat transfer into the air with a capacity of 100% of the compressors <br />total required heat of rejection. Shall be manufactured with 3/8" OD seamless copper tubing <br />mechanically expanded to assure high heat transfer with maximum twelve aluminum fins per <br />inch. <br />B. Fin's on coils shall have a coating corrosion protection that complies with ASTM Bl 17/D1654 <br />and ASTM D2126 for corrosion resistance against common acids, salt and gases. <br />C. Coil shall have 18 -gauge galvanized casing and end plates. <br />D. Coil shall be factory tested at air pressures not less than 400 prig in a water bath. <br />2.7 DRAIN PAN <br />A. Each unit's coil section shall be equipped with a thermoplastic removable drain pan. The <br />drain pans shall be designed with compound slopes to ensure zero water retention. <br />B. The unit shall be configured with a field adjustable drain connection to allow the installer <br />maximum onsite flexibility. <br />2.8 BLOWER <br />A The supply air blower wheel shall be a single width/single inlet airfoil plenum type with a non - <br />overloading type backward inclined airfoil blade wheel, mounted directly to a machined, <br />ground and polished solid steel shaft from the blower motor. <br />B. The fan wheel shall be aluminum and fully epoxy painted. <br />2.9 BLOWER MOTOR (S) <br />A. Shall be totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC), class B insulation, induction type, 40 C rise, pre - <br />lubricated ball bearings mounted on an adjustable base. <br />B. Shall have a service factor rating of 1.15 or higher and must be stamped or marked high <br />efficiency. <br />C. Entire blower motor assembly shall be located out of the airstream. <br />2.10 BLOWER DRIVE ASSEMBLY <br />A. Blower shall have a direct drive. <br />2.11 COMPRESSORS <br />A. Shall be scroll type, suction gas cooled, suitable for refrigerant R -407C, equipped with internal <br />solid state thermal protection sensor, service valves, easily removable crankcase heater for <br />liquid migration protection. Sud pump down cycle protection. <br />B. Compressors shall be located outside the conditioned air stream. <br />C. Compressor manufacturer must have a wholesale outlet for replacement parts in the nearest <br />major city. <br />D. Compressor shall have a 5 -year extended warranty. <br />2.12 REFRIGERATION CIRCUIT <br />A. Shall have solenoid control valves, check valves, a liquid line filter drier, liquid and moisture <br />indicator (out of process air stream), thermostatic expansion valve and pump down solenoid <br />valve. <br />3 <br />
