t <br /> per the construction drawings and specifications. <br /> The location of the new wells is away from refuse limit; thus, drilling of the new <br /> wells does not include excavation of refuse or contact with refuse. <br /> Drilling muds or liquids will not be used during drilling. All drilling equipments are <br /> expected to be clean. The contractor will be required to clean all unclean <br /> equipments off-site. Spoil will be dispersed around the drilled boring. All <br /> construction debris will be removed from the site by the drilling contractor. <br /> Any open excavations deeper than three feet will be covered with a one-inch <br /> thick piece of plywood at the end of the working day. The edges of the plywood <br /> will be sealed around with soil to prevent landfill gas from escaping into the <br /> atmosphere. The plywood covered area will also be flagged with warning tape <br /> A boring log will be compiled during the drilling of the well. <br /> 3.0 WELL CONSTRUCTION <br /> The new soil gas monitoring well ,GW-1A, will be constructed per the <br /> construction drawings and specifications. Comments received from EHD will be <br /> incorporated into the construction of GW-1A. <br /> It is anticipated that GW-1A will be constructed immediately after drilling.
