4 ill I a 0 0 <br />2. Contractor shall place refuse and soil mixed with refuse from the drilling or <br />other work in a dumpster in accordance with the Contract. The Contractor will <br />cover the dumpster at the end of each day. When the dumpster is full, the <br />County will remove the dumpster from the site and dispose materials at the <br />Lovelace Transfer Station. <br />The County will provide a person who has received OSHA 40 -hour Hazardous <br />Waste Training Course or equivalent to identify hazardous material during <br />drilling of LFG wells and excavation of soil in the closure area, if such material is <br />unearthed. <br />If hazardous waste material is encountered, then work in the area will be <br />stopped and the Engineer will cordon -off the area and take action appropriate to <br />the quantity and type of material discovered. <br />Use of safety equipment per OSHA requirements is required by the construction <br />contract for all personnel working at the site. Hard hats and safety vests will be <br />required for personnel working near the construction area and operating heavy <br />equipment. <br />During the first safety meeting, the Engineer will notify personnel at the site to call <br />9-1-1 for any emergency or life-threatening event. During an emergency, the <br />Engineer will notify all personnel to stop work and congregate at the Landfill's <br />entrance gate. <br />For non -emergency medical treatment, all personnel will be advised to go to the <br />hospital listed below.
