Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />April 27, 2021 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 6649 S TRACY BLVD, TRACY <br /> Facility Name: <br /> TRACY WATER TREATMENT - PRIMARY <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days (90 days acute / extremely). <br />OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste container was found on-site with no accumulation start date: <br />One 55 gallons drum of used oil (1/3 full) next to the diesel generator. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br />compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br />disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: A Hazardous waste container was observed on-site with an incomplete labeling. One 55 gallons <br />drum of used oil (1/3 full) next to the diesel generator was found with an incomplete hazardous waste label (see <br />inspection photo). The label does not contain name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, <br />composition (contents), and accumulation start date. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words “Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
