Preliminary Subsurface Investigation Work Plan <br />MOCK PROPERTY <br />2509 to 2511 North West Lane, Stockton, California <br />1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />At the request of Mr. Leonard Borello of Heritage Investments, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br />(AGE) has prepared this Preliminary Subsurface Investigation Work Plan for the property at 2509 <br />to 2511 North West Lane, Stockton, California (the site). The scope of work includes the <br />performance of historical research of the property to identify past tenants and potential <br />environmental concerns and advancement of up to five soil borings to 20 feet below surface grade <br />(bsg). The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. <br />The proposed work is being performed as part of a due diligence for a potential property transfer. <br />This work plan was prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department (SJCEHD) for the procurement of a soil boring permit. <br />2.0. BACKGROUND <br />The site is located on North West Lane south of Alpine Avenue and immediately south of the <br />intersection of the Southern Pacific railroad right of way, .in a mostly commercial area of north <br />Stockton, San Joaquin County (Figure 2). <br />Based on a review of Environmental Data Resources, Inc. and assessor's records and an occupancy <br />search, AGE determined that the site was developed in the early 1950s as a commercial property <br />with three separate buildings; the address on the southern brick building was 2509, on the northern <br />brick building was 2511, and on the west-central wood-frame building was 2509B. Building usages <br />included: <br />Buildings 2509 and 2509B <br />ABC Cabinet Shop from1960 until 1993. <br />Two different insulation corporations (California Insulation Corp. and Sacramento Insulation <br />Corp.) from 1966 to 1972. <br />R&W Plumbing during the late 1970s. <br />Martin's Heating and Air in the early 1980s. <br />California's Best Auto Body" since the late 1990s. <br />Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
