Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
. _
i
cito GEoz
44, 0
CALVIN F
LEE
22 October 2003
AGE-NC Project No. 03-1064
(B5-5), 48 mg/kg (B4-5), 16 mg/kg (B4-5),71 mg/kg (B1-5), 45 mg/kg (B5-5), 70 mg/kg
(B4-5) and 71 mg/kg (B1-5, B4-5 and B5-5), respectively; in addition, lead was detected in
sample B1-5 at a concentration of 6.7 mg/kg. However, the concentrations of metals fell
within the range of background concentrations for these metals in California soils ,and well
below the total threshold limit concentrations (TTLC) for hazardous waste established by
California.
The analytical results are summarized in Tables 1, 2, and 3. A copy of the laboratory report (CTEL
Laboratory Project Number CT214-0310086) is included in Appendix B.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of historical research and the absence of detectable contaminants in the soil
samples, AGE recommends that no further environmental action be taken at the site.
LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluation of the geologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from a limited number of available data
points (i.e. soil samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points. No other
warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions and
recommendations contained in this report.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006.
Donna Sexton Calvin F. Lee
Staff Geologist Senior Project Geologist
California Registered Geologist No. 7327
t Ct.
cc: Ms. Lori Duncan, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
