In addition, we have revised the sampling frequency from quarterly to <br />twice per year for temperature, pH, specific conductance, sulfur, TDS, and sulfate. <br />We have revised the sampling location for HJ Baker & Bro., Inc's sulfur contact- <br />water sampling point. <br />Frequency of Groundwater Monitoring: We revised the groundwater monitoring <br />frequency for anions, cations, sulfur, TDS, TSS, and sulfate from quarterly to <br />semiannual/annual monitoring. <br />Surface Water Reporting: We adjusted the reporting of the surface water <br />monitoring results to semiannual/annual from quarterly. <br />Other Inspections: We eliminated the requirement to monitor the stockpile height; <br />the report of off-site disposal of sulfur contact-water; inspections/repairs after storm <br />events; annual facility inspections; and equipment and wellhead inspections. <br />Reporting Frequency: We have changed the reporting frequency from quarterly to <br />semiannual/annual. <br />Please review our changes on the attached Tentative MRP. For your convenience, an <br />electronic Microsoft Word copy of the Tentative MRP (in the track changes mode) is being <br />transmitted to you via email. You may make your comments directly into this electronic <br />version, if you prefer. Please submit your comments no later than 5 p.m. on 7 May 2010 to <br />this office, attention Mary Boyd. If you prefer, you may email your comments to Mary Boyd at <br />mboyd@waterboards.ca.gov . <br />In order to conserve paper and to reduce mailing costs, paper copies of the Tentative MRP <br />may not accompany this letter.
