sampling of the ground water to the industrial activities that MSC was involved with in
this portion of its leased property only. As such, TRE will go through a reasonable
technical analysis, which would have the salient features listed below
A complete description of the historical and marine cargo handling activities that
were conducted on site by MSC.
A complete listing of the types of cargoes, and materials stored on site as well
as the types of processes that were conducted to support MSC operations on
site.
Based upon the above two steps, a list of COC will be developed and presented
in the SAP.
Simply stated, if MSC did not engage in an industrial activity, it does not feel that it
should analyze the ground water for the corresponding COC of that industrial activity,
regardless of whether or not that COC was analyzed in the baseline analysis of the
ground water.
In closing, on behalf of MSC, we appreciate your spirit of guidance and partnering
on this project. TRE looks forward to working closely with you toward the ultimate
closure of these monitoring wells. If you have any questions and or comments, please
contact me at 209-601-7048.
Enclosure: completed master file and processing check: TRE Check # 2167 $267
Sincerely,
-••••••••.-
Jay R.
