Box 2009 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />MAY 1 8 1993 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />Dear Mr. Borgess: <br />Please find enclosed the copies of the letter provided <br />to our tenants as well as the warning notice which we <br />posted above each sink on the property. When we spoke <br />on 5-6-93, you indicated that we had met our <br />obligations to notify the users of our water system <br />and that notification beyond that area was not <br />necessary. I further understand from Mary Meays in <br />the Environmental Health Division that we have <br />complied with Proposition 65 notifications. As we <br />discussed on 5-7-93 when I stopped in at your office, <br />I am in the process of exploring how best to provide <br />drinkable water to the site, with a filtering system <br />or new well being the most likely approaches. I will <br />be in contact with you once I have some specific <br />proposal from contractors. <br />I understood from you and Ms. Meays that you had met <br />and issued a letter of direction to us. However, as <br />of this date I have not received any correspondence <br />from either of your departments. If I do not receive <br />it by tomorrow, I will call and ask that you fax me <br />copies to 415-457-2351.
