Contamination has
been detected both in the monitoring well and in the on site non-community water well system which serves
the businesses located on the property.
In order to swiftly assess the possible impact that the contamination may have on neighboring domestic
wells, the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) has requested that our agency
assume responsibility for oversight of this investigation. Therefore, your site has been placed into the local
hazardous waste clean-up program. Please complete the enclosed "Request for Services Form" and submit
$390.00 for the initial five hours of staff time for review and investigation. You will be billed quarterly at
a rate of $78.00 per hour. Additionally, charges for sample analysis of neighboring wells will be forwarded
to you for payment.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Mary Meays, Senior REHS, of my staff at (209) 468-
0337.
Laurie A.
