(AGE) has prepared this Well Destruction Workplan for the property located at 230 North Church Street, Lodi, California (site) or on the location map in Figure 1. The site was formerly occupied by Cain Electrical Works. The scope of work included remediation of soil-vapor to evaluate the potential threat for intrusion of solvent- impacted soil-vapor to indoor air at the site with a shallow bio-attenuation zone at the site. SCOPE OF WORK A total of four (4) groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 to MW-4) installed to a total depth of 65 feet below surface grade (bsg) and four (4) shallow (45 feet bsg) soil-vapor extraction wells are proposed for destruction. The wells had been installed as part of investigation, which is currently being overseen by the Regional Board. The wells are depicted on the site plan in Figure 2. Utilizing historical soil (no detections near wells) and groundwater data (all groundwater samples were non-detect for contamination) and based on San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) well destruction requirements, all wells are proposed to be pressure grouted with neat cement and the upper three feet will be overdrilled (excavated) to 24 inches in diameter.
