(AGE) has prepared this <br />Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan for the above-referenced site. The work plan was prepared <br />as required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division for <br />procurement of a boring permit. <br />INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br />This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department (EHD) for the procurement of a soil boring permit. The work is being performed at the <br />request of Mr. Doug Rishwain to investigate the potential for contamination at the site as the result <br />of the usage of a septic system on the property. The work is being performed as part of a due <br />diligence for a potential property transfer. <br />The subject property is located eastern Stockton, San Joaquin County, west of the intersection of <br />Waterloo Road and Sutro Street. Land use of the surrounding properties is primarily commercial. <br />The subject site is the location of a small strip mall. The location of the site is illustrated in Figure <br />1; a plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2. <br />DRILLING AND SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION <br />AGE proposes to advance one soil probe boring using GeoProbe "direct-push" techniques. The <br />boring will be advanced near in the area of the existing septic tank and leach field.
