This investigation was conducted in accordance with the California
Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) "Information Advisory Clean Imported Fill
Material" published in October 2001. To meet these requirements the following work scope was
performed:
Prepared a work plan and obtained permits from the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD);
Collected soil samples at four (4) locations from the imported fill material for
analysis. The soil samples were collected at the surface, and at various depths within
the imported fill material up to 10-feet below ground surface (bgs). In addition two
surface soil samples were collected in an area not associated with the imported fill
material for background comparison;
Analyzed selected samples for potential constituents of concern; and
Prepared this technical report detailing sampling procedures and analytical results.
INVESTIGATIVE PROCEDURES
This assessment consisted of a field investigation, a laboratory testing program, and preparation of
a technical report. The sampling and analytical procedures were conducted in accordance with the
California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) "Information Advisory Clean Imported
Fill Material" published in October 2001.
