RE: FW: 5611 Waterloo Road (o' xl by Sam Orlando) Page 2 of 4
According to Mr. Mueller, the Small Business Administration required a soil test as part of Phase 1 Environmental
Site Assessment, and Soil Probe was selected by Sierra Delta.
David would like to know if either Sierra Delta or Soil Probe had a applied for any permits in the past that may show
knowledge of San Joaquin Permit requirements. I spoke to Rick Matuska, Community Development, and he referred
me to Environmental Health for that type of permit process. Would you check this out for me and give me the results.
I have also attached the documents that were provided by Mr. Mueller.
Thanks,
Arthur T. He
used Fresno County's ordinance to justify drilling in our County without
a permit. He is working with Margaret Lagorio to get the correct
permit, retroactively.
I called Paul Singh and required him to have secondary containment
testing done on the tank system to show that the drilling did not damage
the system. Paul said he would schedule the testing.
Garrett
Original Message
From: David hey [mailto:David.Irey@sjcda.org]
Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2009 6:15 AM
To: Garrett Backus [EH]
Cc: Arthur Harty; Mike Morris; Robert Paine; Kasey Foley [EH]; Willy Ng
[EH]
Subject: RE: FW: 5611 Waterloo Road (owned by Sam Orlando)
Garrett:
I will check with Art/Mike on Tuesday. Have you asked them face to face
or on the phone? Also, I rec'd two pictures from you. I think you
wrote that they drilled in 4 places. I was unable to quickly decern 4,
really even 1 spot, where drilling had occurred. Are there more photos?
Or perhaps you could place arrows on the photos you already took. If no
photos, could you show Art/Mike where the drilling took place?
Thanks.
David
1/28/2009
