The Order required CALAMCO to initiate daily influent
and effluent monitoring for ammonia, pH, and temperature by 20 July 2005, and to address other issues
in the Order with comments by 22 July 2005. CALAMCO has requested both of these compliance dates
be extended to 19 August 2005, for cogitative, logistical, and economical reasons. Per the discussion
between my staff and Mr. Martin Jeppeson, we agree to extend the compliance date of the Order. In the
interim CALAMCO has agreed to conduct influent and effluent monitoring for ammonia, pH, and
temperature every week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday effective 25 July 2005 until
19 August 2005, at which time daily monitoring will commence.
If you have any questions about this 13267 Order extension to submit technical and monitoring program
reports, please contact Patricia Leary at (916) 464-4623 or George Lockwood at (916) 464-4697 or
E-mail address Glockwood@waterboards.ca.gov.
THOMAS R.
