v . <br /> During wet weather , vehicles will operate on and dump loads on <br /> the pads. A small , rubber tired end loader will push the waste <br /> off the pad . A dozer will then push the waste to' the place of <br /> disposal where it will be compacted and covered daily with a <br /> minimum of fe of soil . <br /> COVER MATERIALS STORAGE AREA <br /> About 20,000 CY of cover material will be needed during the <br /> period of November 1 , 1987 through April 30, 1988. About 4,000 <br /> Y of soil will be needed for daily cover of first lifts and <br /> 16,000 CY of soil will be needed for daily and foundation cover <br /> of final lifts which will be covered with a minimum of 1 foot of <br /> compacted soil . <br /> During future summer Months an additional 1 foundation fill , <br /> 1 ' clay layer and 1 ' vegetative layer will be placed over areas <br /> at final grade as part of final closure. <br /> The 20,000 CsY needed will be excavated from a detention basin <br /> south of the EBMUD aqueducts using a concrete crossing and the <br /> County's 23 CY and 11 UY scrapers and excavation to be <br /> performed by the contractor- constructing the detention <br /> basin pump station. This soil will be stockpiled in the fill <br /> storage area (Area R) as shown on Attachment A. <br /> RESERVE ROAD MATERIAL STORAGE ARRA <br /> The access road to the winter disposal areas will require <br /> extending of the existing access road to the new winter <br /> unloading pad . This road will have sufficient base and be <br /> oiled such that on site storage of reserve materials will not <br /> be necessary.
