Closure Plan Concerns <br /> Section 17616 - Report of Disposal Site Information: This <br /> section outlines the contents of a RDSI . in preparation for <br /> closure of a site, the RDSI should be revised to reflect the <br /> activities that will occur during the closure and post-closure <br /> periods. The requirements of Section 17616 as they relate to <br /> closure are as follows: <br /> (a) A descriptive statement of the manner of operation which was <br /> conducted at the site. <br /> (b) Information shall he supplied showing the types and relative <br /> quantities of wastes received. Specific mention shall be <br /> made concerning the disposal of liquid or hazardous wastes . <br /> ( c) Indication of the total acreage contained in the site and <br /> either the total capacity in tons or the capacity in cubic <br /> yards . Include the period of time in which the site was <br /> receiving wastes . <br /> (d) The location of the disposal site shown on a map of at least <br /> the sacale size equivalent to a 1: 24,000 USGS topographical <br /> quadrangle. Su.h map shall show points of access to the <br /> site. <br /> (e) A plot plan which delineates the legal boundaries of the <br /> site for which clear title is held by the owner . <br /> (f ) Identification on the plot plan of the specific limits of <br /> the disposal area( s ) showing relationships to the property <br /> boundary lines and adjacent land uses surrounding the site. <br /> Distances to the nearest on-site and off-site structures <br /> shall be identified. <br /> (g) A description' of the sequence of development stages of the <br /> disposal site operation. <br /> (h) A map showing the topographical contours of the final <br /> elevations of the completed disposal site. <br /> ( i ) Information on the underlying soils, geology, and <br /> groundwater occurrence, based on test borings conducted on <br /> the property. <br /> ( j ) Description of all surface and subsurface drains which are <br /> to be used to control water from areas on, or adjacent to <br /> the disposal site. The location and type of protective <br /> dikes, berms , and levees shall be described. <br /> 3 <br />
