0 <br /> Section 17710 - Grading of fill surfaces: Covered surfaces of <br /> the disposal area must be graded to promote lateral runoff of <br /> precipitation and to prevent ponding. Settlement of the fill <br /> surface may occur in the future and continued maintenance should <br /> be anticipated. (Note: Subchapter 15 imposes minimum slope <br /> requirements. ) <br /> Section 1.7731 - This section refers to the establishment of <br /> maintenance procedures with respect to operating and completed <br /> sites . <br /> Section 17733 - Inspection upon completion: This section <br /> requires notification of the LEA and local health entity at least <br /> 10 days prior to completion of work at a disposal site, in order <br /> that a site inspection may be conducted prior to removal of earth <br /> moving equipment. <br /> Section 17734 - Completed site maintenance: This section <br /> requires the owner to monitor and provide site maintenance for a <br /> period of five years after completion of the site, unless a <br /> longer period is required by the CWMB, CRWQCB, enforcement agency <br /> or other affected agencies . Section 17734 also requires no <br /> improvements on the completed site will be started without first <br /> being reviewed and commented on by- the enforcement agencies. <br /> Section 17735 - Recording: This section requires a detailed <br /> description of the site including a map be filed with the <br /> Recorder of the County in which the site is located, with the LEA <br /> and with the local agency that has been selected to maintain the <br /> county solid waste management plan. This can be accomplished by <br /> including the description and map in the closure plan and <br /> distributing the closure plan appropriately. Included in the <br /> facility description should be a brief history of the site, when <br /> it opened, the nature and quantities of waste it received during <br /> its active life and any special occurrences that may have <br /> happened which may affect the maintenance of the site. The site <br /> map should include final elevations and cross sections showing <br /> the horizontal and vertical boundaries of the waste. <br />
