CAC SECTION OBSERVATIONS RESULT <br /> 17648 -Supervision. There were supervisory personnel on C <br /> site. The site supervisor was <br /> succeeded by two acting supervisors. <br /> The acting supervisors rotate cover <br /> for one another. All supervisors take <br /> management classes. I did not observe <br /> any adverse conditions I felt were due <br /> to lack of supervision. <br /> 17649 Site Attendant. This site was well attended. There C <br /> was a spotter actively watching all <br /> incoming loads, and four operators <br /> keeping an eye on other operations and <br /> relaying information to the spotter . <br /> DISPOSAL SITE IMPROVEMENTS. <br /> 17656 I.D. Signs. I.D. signs were present along the C <br /> major access road. The signs <br /> indicated the direction to the site. <br /> (See Slide I :1) . <br /> 17657 Entry Signs. Entry signs weredisplayedat the main C <br /> gate entrance and stated fees, hours of <br /> operation, and the types of material, <br /> which are/not accepted. <br /> During a portion of this inspection the <br /> sign had been temporarily removed because <br /> of construction of a scale and new <br /> entry way. (See slides 1: 2 - 1 .3) . it <br /> was in place on the last day of the <br /> inspection (10/31/86) . <br /> 17658 Site Security. Off road —vii-hicles (ORV' s) have access <br /> to this site as evidenced by their <br /> dirt trails along site slopes. I did <br /> not see ORV' s on site during this <br /> inspection. Future inspectors should <br /> attempt to determine the ORV entry point. <br /> 17659 Access Roads. The main access is via a smooth, C <br /> gravel two lane road that allows safe <br /> access by all vehicles. I did not <br /> observe waste or dirt tracked onto <br /> public roads.
