STATE OF CALIFORNIA—RESOURCES AGENCY EDMUND G. BROWN JR., Governor
DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION
Department of Forestry
Star Rt. #1, 785 El Dorado St . DEC 15 1977
San Andreas, CA 95249
(209) 754-3831SANI ' LOCAL
HEALTWDIS DIST ICT
December 14, 1977
San Joaquin Local Health District
Attn. : Solid Waste Enforcement Program
1601 East Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95201
Gentlemen :
We have reviewed the Proposed Solid Waste Facility Permits
for both the Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill and the Lovelace
Transfer Station.
For our purposes, the Lovelace Transfer Station does not
constitute a Rubbish Dump, and therefore CDF does not re-
quire a permit for that facility,
The Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill, however, does require
a Rubbish Dump Permit from CDF. The conditions which we
will attach to our next permit for that facility will be
identical to those required by the Linden-Peters Fire Dis-
trict .
We see no problems with, the Proposed Permit as written, but
we would support any changes requested by the Linden-Peters
Fire District .
JAMES D.
