Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region. <br /> 3. County shall provide those services necessary to monitor <br /> the LANDFILL for a period not to exceed ten (10) years following <br /> closure of the site as a sanitary landfill but both COUNTY and <br /> CITY shall have continuing responsibility for meeting the standards <br /> for which the monitoring program is implemented. <br /> COUNTY and CITY shall have a continuing responsibility to <br /> assure the protection o "useably waters at the LANDFILL. Such <br /> protection as specified in Waste Discharge Requirement No. 78-147, <br /> issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br /> shall be provided by the COUNTY and CITY. <br /> 4 . All costs related to the monitoring and maintenance <br /> of the site shall be chargeable to the County Refuse Disposal <br /> Budget and will be funded by the users of the COUNTY operated <br /> solid waste facilities . <br /> 5. COUNTY shall cause the LANDFILL to be graded to the <br /> approved PLAN requirements when the LANDFILL operations are <br /> terminated. <br /> 6. The ultimate use for LANDFFILL site shall be approved <br /> only as suitable for dry grazing land. The LANDFILL site shall <br /> remain unused for one year after the LANDFILL operations are <br /> terminated. The LANDFILL elevations shall be determined one <br /> year after termination of the LANDFILL operations and necessary <br /> adjustments of such elevations shall be made to conform to the <br /> PLAN <br /> 7. COUNTY or CITY may terminate this SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT <br /> and the AGREEMENT by giving four years written notice to the other <br /> party of the intention to so terminate. <br /> -2- <br />
