On the day of this inspection, the <br /> operator indicated that the landfill would be accepting waste through the month of October. <br /> A sign was posted noting that the landfill would no longer accept waste beginning November <br /> 1, 1991. <br /> The LEA issued a Notice and Order (N&O, 12/90) to the operator (San Joaquin County <br /> which noticed a violation of PRC 44004 (exceeding the daily permit capacity of 1400 yds ) <br /> and ordered the operator to close the landfill by 10/1/91. The N&O set the terms and <br /> conditions of operation until closure.
