As you mentioned, you received a copy of the closure <br /> plan, dated 1986, by Nolte and Associates. This plan was sent to <br /> Leandro Ramos of the Waste Board as an attachment to a compliance <br /> agreement following a state inspection of the landfill. For some <br /> unknown reason the plan was inadvertently routed to you through the <br /> Waste Board. The plan is not a submittal of a final closure plan <br /> for the site. It was prepared for the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board in 1986 to comply with Subchapter 15 regulations <br /> regarding closure. <br /> The County Solid Waste Engineering Staff is currently preparing the <br /> final Closure-Postclosure Plan for the Harney Lane Landfill. The <br /> County has the necessary topographic maps and our engineering staff <br /> is preparing the final design, cross section drawings and phasing <br /> diagrams to complete the plans. We have also completed the draft <br /> slope stability analysis and are also preparing the Construction <br /> Quality Assurance Program to accompany the plan report. <br /> We plan to have the completed final Closure-Postclosure Plan ready <br /> for submittal to the Waste Board by September 1, 1990.
