This Proposal was
developed based upon our current understanding of site conditions, and our previous telephone
conversation with you on July 13, 2001. This Proposal is a preliminary understanding of JBH
Development's desires. Kleinfelder is committed to providing quality service to our clients,
commensurate with their wants, needs and desired level of risk.' If a portion of this Proposal
does not meet your needs, or if those needs have changed, Kleinfelder will consider appropriate
modifications subject to the standards of care to which we adhere as professionals.
Modifications such as changes in scope, methodology, scheduling, and contract terms may result
in changes to the risks assumed by you our client as well as adjustments to our fees.
BACKGROUND
Kleinfelder was contacted to assess the subsurface soils in the area of a former underground
storage tank (UST) located at the Dirksen Property, 582 North Wilma Avenue, Ripon,
California. The UST was reportedly removed approximately 20 years ago. No leakage or spills
were noted at that time. The UST reportedly had a capacity of 300 gallons, and was used to store
gasoline. This assessment was requested in response to the potential future sale of the property.
This proposal is based on the information presented to Kleinfelder at this time.
20-YP1-642/2011P193 Page 1 of 7
Copyright 2001,Kleinfelder,Inc.
