All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of the food facility. #1 Demonstration of Knowledge OBSERVATIONS: The operator of the mobile food unit currently does not contain a food safety certificate at this time. Obtain and provide to Victor Acevedo (vmacevedo@sjgov.org) within 60 days. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. Obtain and maintain on site to ensure proper sanitizing levels during ware-washing. Correct before operational use. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food facilities that prepare food shall be equipped with warewashing facilities. Testing equipment and materials shall be provided to measure the applicable sanitization method. Correct before operational use. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: 1. The business name or the name of the operator, city state and ZIP code, and the name of the permittee if different from the business name is not clearly visible on the customer side of the mobile food facility. [§114299(a)] 2. Business or operator name is not at least 3 inches high and address is not one inch high. [§114299(b)] 3. Sign is not in contrasting color with the vehicle exterior. [§114299(b)] 4. For a motorized vehicle and a mobile support unit, the sign is not present on both sides of vehicle.
