Box 6012 <br /> San Ramon, California 94583 <br /> Subject: Supplemental Well Search Report <br /> US Can—Welty Road <br /> 35275 Welty Road <br /> Vernalis, San Joaquin County, California <br /> Dear Mr. Oliphant: <br /> SAIC Energy, Environment& Infrastructure, LLC (SAIC)prepared this Supplemental <br /> Well Search Report on behalf of Chevron Environmental Management Company <br /> (CEMC)for the US Can—Welty Road site (the Site), located in Vernalis, San Joaquin <br /> County, California(Figure 1). SAIC performed a California Department of Water <br /> Resources (DWR)well search in 2010 and identified a total of seven wells within <br /> 2,000 feet of the Sitel. <br /> The 2010 search identified two wells (State ID #25650 and#125288), the locations of <br /> which could not be placed on a map due to insufficient information provided in the DWR <br /> Well Drillers Reports(Drillers Report). In addition, the location of third well (State ID <br /> #52134)was only approximated during the search, as the address provided on the Drillers <br /> Report (35401 S. Welty Road) was not known to exist near the Site. SAIC recommended <br /> additional research to establish the locations of the wells. The Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) concurred with the recommendation in a lettere, <br /> and requested the results be submitted under separate cover. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL WELL SEARCH RESULTS <br /> In June and July 2012, SAIC conducted additional research to determine the locations of <br /> the three wells in question.
