The proposed septic system will consist, at a minimum of a <br /> 1,200-gallon septic tank with two compartments and a 1,000-square foot filter bed. The <br /> septic system will be connected to the two-bedroom modular home planned to be <br /> developed on the property and will be utilized 365 days a year. <br /> 3.1. EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The septic system servicing the existing residential structure (house) consists of a 2,000- <br /> gallon septic tank with two compartments, three 90-foot-long leach lines, and three 42- <br /> inch diameter, 25-foot-deep seepage pits. The septic tank and filter bed are located to the <br /> northwest of the structure on the property. The system is permitted for a five-bedroom <br /> house and is utilized 365 days/year (Appendix B). <br /> 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> One liquid wastewater septic permit is on record at the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD). EHD permit SR0025670 dated March 2001 is <br /> on record for 8675 Carey Court, Stockton, California for installation of a new residential <br /> septic system consisting of a 2,000-gallon septic tank with two compartments, three 90- <br /> foot-long leach lines, and three 42-inch diameter, 25-foot-deep seepage pits <br /> (Appendix B). <br /> 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br /> There are no septic wastewater repair permits on file at the EHD. <br /> 3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA <br /> Neighboring properties are zoned for residential land use. Several liquid waste permits <br /> are on record at the EHD for installation of septic systems surrounding the subject <br /> property. <br /> 3.5. GENERAL AREA SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> The following is a summary of information based on new septic system installation permits <br /> currently on file with EHD. <br />
