Olsen, Inc. and Associates to perform a modified Phase <br /> I Site Assessment and Preliminary Phase ITA Environmental Site Assessment <br /> at the 35500 Welty Road property (Property) located in Vernalis at the <br /> southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 33 & Welty Road (Figure 1). <br /> Because there is concern on the part of Homer r. Olsen, Inc. with respect to the <br /> environmental history of the Property, this Environmental Assessment <br /> includes a records and information review and intrusive testing (borehole <br /> installation), i.e., a modified Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) <br /> and a Preliminary Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA). <br /> The purpose of the modified Phase I ESA was to evaluate potential nearby off- <br /> site sources of environmental concern as well as delineate areas of recognized <br /> environmental concern that are present on the Property. This information <br /> was used to designate locations for soil borings to be installed in the Phase II <br /> section of the work. <br />
