Hunter Container Corporation <br /> 35275 H)q. 33, Vernalis, California <br /> Phase I - Site Characterization Report <br /> WastelBurn Pit & Surrounding Area <br /> 1.0 Project Identification <br /> WHF, Inc., was contracted-by Mr. Norm Hunter of Hunter Container Corporation, Inc., to <br /> investigate the contents and/or levels of contamination within the waste/bum pit and the <br /> surrounding areas of the subject site. The waste/burn pit and surrounding area is located <br /> directly west to the main warehouse fabrication building (Figure 2). The U. S. Can Company <br /> property, formerly "Hunter Container Corporation", has a physical address known as 35275 <br /> . l Highway 33, Vernalis, California(Figure 1). <br /> 1 <br /> 2.0 Site Description and History <br /> On March 30, 1995, ERM, Inc., collected eleven (11) surface soil samples, S-1 <br /> through 5-11, based on a site review of the area (Figure 2 & Table 3).
