F. Drilling muds or liquids shall not be used. <br /> G. The Contractor shall be responsible for any drilling augers, drill bits or <br /> drilling tools stuck or left in the bore hole. <br /> H. The Contractor shall maintain a drilling log for each well bore hole. The <br /> drilling log shall be legible and shall be submitted to the Engineer for review <br /> and acceptance after completion of the project. The minimum information <br /> required on the drilling logs is: <br /> • Drilling date, weather conditions and Company's name, Well No, and <br /> logger's name. <br /> • Description of drilling equipment and diameter of drilling auger. <br /> • Depth of refuse. <br /> • Description of cuttings (i.e., type of soil or refuse, state of decay, relative <br /> moisture content, unusual odors, date of waste, if newspaper or <br /> magazines are legible in the cuttings) every five feet or more frequently <br /> if a change in refuse characteristics are observed. <br /> • Depth of identifiable liquid seeps. <br /> • Depth of Native soil under existing refuse. <br /> • Characteristics of native soil. <br /> • Depth of refuse that causes drilling obstruction. <br /> • Drilling start and finish time. <br /> I. Refuse and soil with refuse drilled out shall be disposed in a Contractor <br /> provided dumpster bin. The opening of dumpster shall be covered at all <br /> times and its contents disposed off-site when full. The Contractor may <br /> choose North County Landfill to dispose materials in the dumpster. <br /> Contractor shall pay all disposal fees. <br /> J.
