These borings will be comple a to
feet below ground surface using a 3.75" diameter hand auger. Soil samples
w l be collected at th se of each boring for composite for analysis. It is
proposed tha two composite samples a analyzed. The collection procedures
are described in sec ion above. Sampling handling procedures are
described in section 2.1.2 above. All sampling equipment will be
decontaminated using a three bucket wash system and TSP or Alconox soap.
The composite soil samples from the borings would be analyzed as described
above in section 2.2.
2.4 Stained Soil Sampling
Ten shallow hand auger soil borings will be completed in a grid pattern
through an area of stained soil a underneath the pole barn. These
borings will be completed five feet belo.;ground surface using a 3.75"
diameter hand auger. Soil samples wi a collected at two feet and at the
base of each boring for composite for analysis. It is'p p ed that two
composite samples be analyzed, one composite from two feet and one from
five feet. The collection procedures are described in section 2.2 above.
Sampling handling procedures are described in section 2.1.2 above. The oin osite soil samples rom the
borings would be analyzed as above in section 2.2.
2937 Veneman Avenue,Suite B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
