INSTALLATION OF IN-SITU AIR SPARGING WELLS AGE anticipates utilizing the monitoring wells observation wells for a IAS remediation; the IAS remediation will be performed concurrently with the ongoing SVE remediation at the site.The IAS wells will be screened between 70 and 75 feet bsg. Proposed wells will be installed at the following locations: • An IAS well will be located at monitoring well MW-2. • An IAS well will be located southeast of vapor well VW-14, near a new SVE well. • An IAS well will be located north of monitoring well MW-3. • An IAS well will be located southwest of vapor well VW7. • An IAS well will be located west of vapor well VW 11. • An IAS well will be located near monitoring well MW-7. • An IAS well will be located southwest of monitoring well MW-7. • An IAS well will be located at north of well MW-7. • An IAS well will be located near monitoring well MW-8. • An IAS well will be located south of monitoring well MW-7. Proposed IAS well locations are depicted in Figure 4. 2.4. INSTALLATION OF SVE AND IAS PIPING NETWORK A two-inch diameter, schedule 40 PVC piping will be installed within the building footprint at approximately one foot bsg and routed from all of the SVE well heads,both installed and proposed well will be connected to the soil vapor extraction(SVE)system. A control valve will be placed at each SVE well head to control or optimized the extraction rate. A one-inch diameter, schedule 40 PVC piping will be connected to the well head at IAS wells within the building footprint at approximately one foot bsg.
