The Site is currently owned by the City of
Stockton, which refers to the Site as "Parcel 2A". The Site currently consists of relatively flat, fallow
land and is mostly undeveloped except for the Delta View Apartments (formerly the Delta Gateway
Apartments) located on the western and southern portion of the Site. A State Department of Motor
Vehicles (DMV) building resides to the southeast of the Site. The Stockton Deep Water Channel,
Weber Avenue, and an office building complex are located north of the Site. The Mormon Slough,
Work Net building, and a children's museum are located to the southwest, south, and east of the
Site, respectively.
Environmental investigations began at the Site in 1989 and quarterly monitoring and sampling
activities were initiated in 2002. Active remediation has been performed at the Site since 2004.
