(Stantec) presents this We// Destruction Report for the Tidewater
Stockton site (the "Site"), L&M Operable Unit (OU) located adjacent to and along the eastern
boundary of the Delta View Apartments (802 West Weber Avenue) and west of the North Lincoln
Street and West Weber Avenue intersection in San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1). Well
destruction activities were completed in response to the Revised Monitoring and Reporting Program
(MRP) No. R5-2012-0805 prepared by the Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley
Region (RWQCB-CVR) and dated May 11, 2012. A copy of the May 11, 2012 RWQCB-CVR letter
is included in Attachment A.
SITE DESCRIPTION
The Site is located adjacent to and along the eastern boundary of the Delta View Apartments
(802 West Weber Avenue) and west of the North Lincoln Street and West Weber Avenue
intersection in San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1). The Site is currently owned by the City of
Stockton, which refers to the Site as "Parcel 2A". The Site currently consists of relatively flat, fallow
land and is mostly undeveloped except for the Delta View Apartments (formerly the Delta Gateway
Apartments) located on the western and southern portion of the Site. A State Department of Motor
Vehicles (DMV) building resides to the southeast of the Site. The Stockton Deep Water Channel,
Weber Avenue, and an office building complex are located north of the Site. The Mormon Slough,
Work Net building, and a children's museum are located to the southwest, south, and east of the
Site, respectively.
Environmental investigations began at the Site in 1989 and quarterly monitoring and sampling
activities were initiated in 2002. Active remediation has been performed at the Site since 2004.
