Health and Safety Plan, Subsurface Investigation <br />Potential New Court Site, Stockton, California <br />aspects of the work operations, and is responsible to Earth Tech management for the safe performance <br />and completion of the work activities. Specific safety-related duties include: <br />Ensuring that an approved HASP is prepared that addresses all aspects of the work to be <br />performed <br />Ensuring that all personnel assigned to perform on-site activities meet the required qualifications <br />Providing adequate resources and supplies to fulfill all work safety requirements <br />Assigning the Field Manager and Site Safety Officer, to provide on-site management of work <br />activities <br />Contacting the Safety Professional for guidance regarding any health and safety related matters. <br /> <br />2.2 Health and Safety Professional (Mr. Joe Bermudez) <br />The Safety, Health and Environmental Professional (SH&EP) is a member of Earth Tech's Safety, Health <br />and Environmental Department assigned to support this project by providing all SH&E-related technical <br />services and assistance. The SH&EP is the first point-of-contact for all of the project's SH&E needs. <br />The SH&EP exercises project-specific duties which include: <br />Review and approval of this HASP <br />Approval of the designated Site Safety Officer (SSO) <br />Review of all personal exposure monitoring results <br />Investigation of any reported unsafe acts or conditions. <br />The SH&EP is appointed by the Earth Tech SH&E Manager. <br /> <br />2.3 Field Manager (Mr. Richard Burzinski) <br />At each field work site, a FM will be assigned who manages all Earth Tech and subcontractor activities at <br />the site, and is responsible for field implementation of the specified SH&E requirements. This includes <br />communicating site requirements to all personnel, observing that field supervisors and subcontractors <br />enforce all provisions of the HASP/other SH&E documentation, working with the SSO to implement all <br />Project 104290.19.01 4 January 2009
