The referral describes construction of a wastewater
treatment plant and a sewage collection system that will be constructed and dedicated to San Joaquin
County.
The information in the referral is limited and it is impossible to determine the plans for domestiC
wastewater disposal. However, it appears on-site treatment and/or disposal of wastewater is being
considered. Consistent with California Water Code Section 13260, the property developer is required to
submit a Report of Waste Discharge at least 120 days prior to discharging wastewater. If all the
domestic wastewater is discharged to a municipal treatment system, the Regional Water Quality Control
Board will not issue Waste Discharge Requirements for the site.
If you have any questions on this information, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMOTHY R.
