Franks CEG#88 <br />In <br />The Arcady Gil Company drilling mud disposal site was <br />put into operation under Waste Discharge Requirements issued <br />April 21, 1960. The requirements were brought up to date by <br />the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board in <br />1976. The site was closed in May 1984 and will not receive <br />any more waste. <br />The Regional Board staff made an inspection of the site <br />and the Board issued a Clean up and Abatement Order on October <br />11,1984. <br />Subsequent to the Order, Arcady Oil has completed an <br />extensive drilling program to determine the nature of the <br />waste in the site and to construct wells to ascertain the <br />hydrogeology of the site. The wells were drilled and cased <br />on April 29,1984. The surface seals and protective cover <br />for the wells were installed the first portion of May 1985 <br />The survey of the area for well head elevations has not been <br />made. <br />Well Locatons and Construction Details <br />All of the new wells were drilled with a six inch contin <br />uous flight auger.
