-2-
wells is set forth on the enclosed well logs. The 20 feet
lengths of PVC casing were fitted with a slip cap on the
bottom and saw slot perforated. The slots are about 1/16
inch wide by about Yinches long, cut horizontal (around)
the casing. The slots are set in groups each six inches
up the casing. The top 5 feet of the casing was not
perforated. No cement was used on any of the wells. If
it were required, "0" ring connecions were on site for
extending the casing longer that 20 feet.
The locations for each of the wells are shown on the
attached map. As soon as the survey has been made of the
site, elevations of top of casing will be provided.
The new wells will be developed by pumping. They
will be pumped at the yield of the well until two of the
following have stabilized; E.C.,pH. or temperature.
Monitoring Program
As soon as the well head elevations are surveyed water
table elevations will be calculated for the 10 new wells
and the 2 existing wells. A ground water contour map will
then be drawn. It is believed that this data will provide
the required knowledge of the hydro geology of the Area near
this drilling mud disposal site. At that time some of the
wells can be selected for up gradient monitoring and others
for down gradient monitoring. If it is found that there
are no wastes in the site that could cause ground water
