Trapper Sloughs in the general area of the Marina. The samples were sent <br />to Brown and Caldwell's laboratory in Emeryville for determination of BTX <br />and total hydrocarbon content. Reportedly (Mr. Alvin Kiener during <br />February 27, 1986 meeting) previous analyses performed by Arcady Oil <br />Company have shown 10,000 ppm of xylene but no benzene or toluene. <br />4.6 Groundwater Sampling <br />The twelve existing wells at the site have been inspected and <br />numbered. One set of groundwater elevations and product thicknesses have <br />been measured. The wells were then purged (2 to 5 casing volumes) and <br />samples collected. The samples are sent to analytical laboratory under <br />chain-of-custody for analysis of concentrations of BTX, total hydrocarbons <br />and tetraethyl lead. The results should be available within the next two <br />weeks.
