Task 3: Confirmation Sampling and Sample Analysis <br />Four (4) soil samples will be collected in brass tubes sealed with <br />Teflon, plastic end caps and tape, then labeled and stored on ice for <br />transport to the laboratory under chain-of-custody. Two of the <br />samples will be collected from the bottom of the excavation for the <br />purpose of ensuring that all contaminated soil has been excavated. <br />Two samples will be collected from the excavated soils placed in the <br />lined disposal bin for the purpose of waste characterization. <br />The samples will be analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons- <br />Diesel fraction by AEMC's analytical laboratory (State of California <br />Certification #210). <br />Task 4: Backfilling and Compaction <br />Following confirmation that all contaminated soil has been removed, <br />the excavation will be backfilled and compacted to grade. <br />PHASE TWO: REPORT OF FINDINGS <br />A report of all activities performed, findings,conclusions and recommendations will <br />be assembled and presented to Beck Development and the San Joaquin Local <br />Health District. <br />beck-01(nil) <br /> Page 3
