You understand that EHD inspection is required,
and this will not happen again.
Provide grout volume for each boring.
Provide information on the persons who performed the work or were on site.
If you have questions please contact me at 209-468-3444.
Michael Kith, Lead Sr REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
mkith@sjcehd.com
Phone: (209) 468-3444
Fax: (209) 468-8392
From: Mangine, Joe [mailto:JMangine(apartneresi.com ]
Sent: Thursday, August 31, 2017 1:40 PM
To: Michael Kith [[H]
Cc: Maroon, Nathan
Subject: 54 North Cluff Ave, Lodi, CA
Hi Michael,
As requested, the borehole backfilling specifications for the subject property are as follows:
On July 7, 2017, a total of six borings (2.5" diameter) were advanced to a total depth of 15' below ground
surface (bgs) using a direct-push drill rig (GeoProbe). Groundwater was not encountered.
Following soil sampling activities, each borehole was backfilled with cement grout.
Our driller (ECA, Inc.) used 15 gallons of water mixed with 235 pounds of portland cement to complete the
grouting activities.
Boreholes advanced in improved areas were capped with concrete and dye to match existing ground cover.
Boring logs are attached for your reference.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if any further information is needed. Thanks again Michael!
Joe Mangine, PG
1
