These are
the figures we used to bid this work, but the actual bore diameter will be 10 inches, which will provide the
minimum clearance between risers and wall of the bore hole. We will show this dimension on our as -built
drawings.
I hope this allays all concerns.
Best regards as always,
Mike Carroll
W. My experience tells me not enough annular
space. 2 -inch diameter usually calls for 8 -inch borehole and if you are stuffing another 1 -inch diameter tube into
it, the boring will be very cramped. Please check and let me know. I assume no more than 20 -feet of screen.
Correct.
From: Michael Carroll [mailto:mcarroll@sjgov.org]
Sent: Monday, May 20, 2013 9:39 AM
To: DelFrate, Todd@Waterboards
Cc: Joyesh Chandra; Wyels, Wendy@Waterboards; Isham, Julian
Subject: RE: Replacing groundwater wells at several San Joaquin County Landfills
From: DelFrate, Todd@Waterboards [mailto:Todd.DelFrateCa)waterboards.ca.govI
5/22/2013
