Paint Room. Mike Belmont stated that non-empty aerosol cans are punctured. This site has not sent a <br /> written notification to the SJCEHD to perform aerosol can treatment.The site does not have a can puncturing <br /> procedure or employee training records.The site does not capture the can residual during the puncturing process <br /> for disposal as hazardous waste. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: California Health &Safety Code section 25201.160) <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately prepare a notification document for aerosol can processing with the required <br /> information. Completely fill out the provided form or an equivalent. Provide the notification document to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 712 CCR 66273.34 Universal Waste Handler failed to label universal waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility has not labeled their universal waste(UW)as required by this section. The following <br /> universal waste was observed on-site with incomplete labeling: <br /> IMG-0640.Warehouse. The site is storing approximately 100 universal waste fluorescent tubes in an open box with <br /> no labeling. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.34 Labeling/Marking <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Maintain the lamps as intact and place in a closed box and label the box "Universal <br /> Waste-Lamps", as required by this section.
