BASIS FOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
PA-2100064, 65 (GP,ZR)
STOCKTONIANS TO NEUTRALIZE DRUGS
1. The internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in adoption of the Map Amendment.
• This determination can be made because the proposed project is consistent with the Low
Density Residential policies of the General Plan. These policies require that the site be served
by a public water system, a public sewer system, and a public storm drainage system, all of
which are available at the project site. The project site also meets the locational criteria for the
Low Density Residential designation as it is in an urban community area where single-family
homes are the dominant land use. Finally, the proposed project is consistent with the General
Plan goal for infill development that is adjacent to existing development and maximizes the
efficient use of land and uses existing infrastructure.
PA-2100064, 65 (GP, ZR)—Basis for General Plan Amendment 1
