Six deficiencies are <br /> cited as needing correction before staff could recommend <br /> approval. The Board cited deficiencies and corrective responses <br /> are as follows: <br /> 1. The landfill modules do not meet the criteria for discrete <br /> units pursuant to Title 14, California Code of Regulations <br /> (14 CCR) Section 17761(a) (12) . <br /> Response: <br /> Reference to discrete units, page 2, will be stricken from the <br /> report (Plan holders will be advised to line through the word <br /> discrete page 2 of the Plans) . <br /> 2. The Enterprise Fund, submitted as a financial assurance <br /> mechanism, does not meet the requirements of the <br /> Closure/Postclosure Regulations for the following reasons: <br /> a. The documentation does not indicate that the financial <br /> mechanism will be funded in accordance with 14 CCR <br /> 18282. <br /> b. The Resolution does not have any language stipulating a <br /> reporting process. (see enclosed example) <br />
