The <br />amount necessary to demonstrate financial assurance has been <br />added to the estimate summary. <br />The cost of acquiring materials for maintaining the final <br />cover was not addressed - Section 18266(b)(6). <br />Response: There will be no cost associated with -the <br />acquisition of soil for final cover maintenance. Excess soil <br />will be generated within the project and will be stockpiled <br />for maintenance purposes during the postclosure period. A <br />section was added to the plan report explaining the process <br />and a statement has been added to the cost estimate section. <br />An error was made in calculating the cost estimate for vadose <br />zone monitoring. The 3 in the plans (p.31) should be a 11401. <br />Response: The cost estimate is correct. The estimate <br />includes the cost for 3 quarterly testings @ $250 each and one <br />quarterly testing @ $600 which includes the VOC analysis <br />needed for and annual report. <br />An error was made in calculating the cost estimate for ground <br />water monitoring. The 11311 in the plans (p. 31) should be a <br />114". <br />Response: The cost estimate is correct. The $600 includes the <br />quarterly analysis cost and additional VOC analysis need <br />annually (See item 3, above). <br />The leachate testing figure (p. 31) is in error.
