California Inte ate aste Management Board <br /> Resolution 1-39 <br /> October ,30., 1991 <br /> r <br /> WHEREAS, the Board"f hds that the proper closure and <br /> postclosure maintenanlcd`plans are necessary for the protection of <br /> air, land,' and water from the effects of pollution from solid <br /> waste landfills; and <br /> WHEREAS, Public Resources Code, Section 43501 requires any <br /> person intending to close a solid waste landfill to submit <br /> closure plans to the Board, Local Enforcement Agency, and the <br /> Regional Water Board; and <br /> WHEREAS, the operator of North County Landfill has submitted <br /> preliminary closure and postclosure maintenance plans to the <br /> Regional Water Board, the Local Enforcement Agency and the Board <br /> for approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, both the Regional Water Board and the Local <br /> Enforcement Agency have approved the preliminary closure and <br /> postclosure maintenance plans for North County Landfill; and <br /> WHEREAS, Board staff has reviewed the preliminary closure <br /> and postclosure maintenance plans for the above facility and <br /> found that the plans meet the requirements contained in Title 14, <br /> California Code of Regulations, Division 7, Chapter 3, <br /> Article 7.8, and Chapter 5, Articles 3 .4 and 3 .5; and <br /> WHEREAS, the operator has met the closure and postclosure <br /> certification requirements of Public Resources Code, <br /> Section 43501. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board hereby <br /> approves the preliminary closure and postclosure maintenance <br /> plans and closure and postclosure certification for North County <br /> Landfill, San Joaquin County, Facility No. 39-AA-0022 . <br /> CERTIFICATION <br /> The undersigned Executive Director of the California Integrated <br /> Waste Management Board does hereby certify that the foregoing is <br /> a full, true, and correct copy of a resolution duly and regularly <br /> adopted at a meeting of the California Integrated Waste <br /> Management Board held October 30, 1991. <br /> Dated: <br /> ' Ralph E.
