AdvancedGeo
Environmental
05 January 2018
AGE Project No. 18-4265

Ms. Annette Zimmer
4171 Industrial Way
Tracy, CA 95304
Via Email: azimmermswent.net
RECEMPr
FEB 0 2 2018
Subject: Phase ll Site Assessment Work Plan
J & D AUTO BODY
1011 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California
'gm
Dear Ms. Zimmer:
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Phase ll Site Assessment
Work Plan for the property located at 1011 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, California (site).
The work plan provides procedures for the collection of soil, soil-vapor, and groundwater
samples at the site. The site and surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1; on-site
structures and proposed soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2.
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
It is our understanding that a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (report) was
recently completed for the site. The Phase I indicated that additional subsurface
investigation was warranted in the following areas:
Former underground storage tanks (USTs) and dispenser island area. According to
EHD records, one 3,000-gallon gasoline tank and one 1,000-gallon diesel tank were
located near the southeast corner of the garage/shop area. Additionally, one waste
oil UST was reportedly located west of the fuel USTs. The former dispenser island
was reportedly located south of the UST area.
The current oil/water separator area.
The current and former in-ground hydraulic lift areas.
The report states that "soil samples must be collected in native soil from each boring at a
shallow depth just below the feature or area of interest, and also must be collected from
a deeper depth in the same boring. Grab groundwater samples must be collected if
groundwater is encountered during soil sampling". Groundwater at the site is generally
found at depths of greater than 50 feet below surface grade (bsg).
